Two men have allegedly stabbed a security guard, bashed a good Samaritan and sprayed two police officers with a fire extinguisher while they were being kicked out of a Gold Coast bar.
The 41-year-old and 25-year-old men are facing multiple charges — including a combined 14 counts of assault — over the incident in Burleigh Waters just after midnight on Tuesday.
The security guard was trying to evict the men when they allegedly cut him with a knife.

When a 37-year-old man tried to “intervene”, the men allegedly struck him in the head, according to police.
They allegedly continued to bash him while he was on the ground.
Two responding senior constables were allegedly sprayed with a fire extinguisher by the men, who also allegedly threw chairs at them.

The two policemen, aged 39 and 54, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The alleged attackers were arrested shortly after.
The 41-year-old man, from Biggera Waters, was charged with five counts of assault occasioning bodily harm in company and two counts of obstructing police.

The 25-year-old Helensvale man was charged with five counts of assault occasioning bodily harm in company and four counts of serious assault of a police officer whilst armed.
Police allege the men were affected by alcohol during their alleged offending.
Both men are due to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
