NSW authorities have charged a man with murder over the discovery of a body at a beachside carpark on the Central Coast.
The 40-year-old victim was found by Brisbane Water Police District officers in a vehicle parked on Trafalgar Ave at Umina Beach about 3.15am on Monday.
Police said he had sustained stab wounds.

On Wednesday a 30-year-old man was charged by detectives with one count of murder.
The Umina Beach man, who underwent surgery for a hand injury after he was arrested at Gosford Police Station on Monday, has been refused bail.
He is due to appear in Gosford Local Court on Thursday.
It is understood the accused is known to the deceased man.
The dead man was known to police but authorities said he has an “insignificant history”.
