A mother and son who were found dead inside their Adelaide home have been identified as 76-year-old Antoinette Tozer and her 55-year-old son, Steve.

On Saturday morning, Antoinette and Steve were found dead inside the house on Rosetta St in Rosewater after they suffered “significant injuries”.

Antoinette’s concerned daughter and granddaughter went to check on the pair and found their bodies.

“(They were) confronted with the horrific scene,” South Australia Police said.

Police arrested a 43-year-old man of no fixed address, but who had been residing across the road from the house.

He was charged with two counts of murder and will appear before the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday, February 5.

Police said there were not looking for any other suspects at this stage.
