A man has been accused of dangerous driving after a five-year-old Queensland boy was allegedly fatally struck by a vehicle while camping on a friend’s property.
Jack Noel Stephen Brown died after being allegedly run over on the private property at Blackbutt North, west of the Sunshine Coast, in July.
Jack’s death was an “unimaginable tragedy” for his parents and older brother, according to a GoFundMe campaign set up by a family friend.

“This tragedy is absolutely incomprehensible and beyond unbearable for (parents) Jim and Carla, and everyone involved,” organiser Sara Beath wrote.

He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police have declined to provide details about the allegations against the man.
Police say they are continuing to prepare a report for the coroner.
