An allegedly pilfered therapy dog has been reunited with his owners after he was found in a home south of Perth, with two women due to face court over his theft.

WA Police arrested two women, aged 39 and 46, and charged them with aggravated home burglary and stealing.

Police allege the pair broke into Sonic’s home about 10.45am on Monday and stole the unsuspecting pup, worth $5000, as well as a number of other items.

The 46-year-old Northbridge woman was also charged with breaching bail and possessing a prohibited drug.
